Sheila & Jeff | Graydon Hall Manor Wedding
Sheila and Jeff’s love sprouted in the midst of COVID lockdown. When outdoor dining reopened for the first time, they went on a first date at a restaurant. Much to her family’s surprise, Sheila returned home rather early that night. Was it because the date went poorly, you may wonder? Quite the contrary! Sheila and Jeff were both devotees to their Christian faith, and when Jeff learnt that Sheila usually had her weekly church small group on Saturday nights, he sent her home so she wouldn’t miss it! This considerate act spoke volumes to the nature of their relationship: God-centered and endlessly supportive to each other’s spiritual journey. One day when Sheila went over to Jeff’s condo to help with packing, she was surprised by her favorite Rilakkuma stuffed animal outside the door, roses, and a trail of sweet notes leading her into the condo. There Jeff popped the question and Sheila said yes! She was deeply moved by the thoughtfulness and cried tears of joy.
On a blessed Saturday morning in October, their solemn and sacred wedding ceremony took place at Sheila’s home church, Cornerstone Chinese Alliance Church. Families, friends, members of their church family gathered together to celebrate and witness the union of Sheila and Jeff. They joined the merry couple in prayer and worship. Having vowed their devotion to one another, the couple exchanged rings and were joined as husband and wife! All our hearts were filled with great joy for this blessed pair and the journey they shall therefrom walk together. But the round of celebrations and blessings did not end only there. We transferred to the historic Graydon Hall Manor for an elegant reception. Aside from warm congratulations from friends and loved ones, the married couple also received blessings from their most intimate family members in the form of a traditional tea ceremony.
We are so happy for you, Sheila and Jeff, and thank you for having us document your big day! Heartfelt congratulations!

Deby & Daniil | A Colourful Fall Kortright Centre Wedding
When stress level peaked and work dominated Deby’s life, Daniil came into the picture. Being the considerate person he is, he often checked in to see how Deby was doing, and his presence showed her that there was more to life than work. Soon, Deby found herself falling deeper and deeper in love. The pair felt so comfortable and happy being by each other’s side. In a few weeks, their hearts were certain that there was no one else they’d rather date!
Funny story: Daniil “proposed” not once, but multiple times (on one occasion with a chicken wing!) to keep the actual proposal as much of a surprise as possible. When the real proposal finally happened, there were no grandiose gestures, no elaborate schemes – only two lovebirds cozying up at home, then a ring, a sincere question, and a resounding “yes”. It felt exceedingly fitting and sweet, as their relationship is way more than just grand gestures, and living the “typical” everyday life side-by-side is Deby and Daniil’s truest expression of love.
We are so honored to be there to document Deby and Daniil’s big day! Pre-ceremony, we witnessed a series of fun door games and a traditional tea ceremony filled with blessings. Then, hearts filled with excitement, the bridal party set off to the Kortright Centre for Conservation. It was a beautiful woodland preserve, which was picture perfect for the boho-themed wedding! After some gorgeous shots in the wilderness and the heart-warming first look, it was already time for the ceremony! Surrounded by love and blessings from family and friends, Deby and Daniil were married! What a joyful day it was! Soon the two lovers made their grand entrance at the reception, but this time as husband and wife. It was a night of gleeful celebrations. Heartfelt blessings were poured out in speeches, glasses were raised, and who could have forgotten the couple’s first dance? Basked in the warmth of autumn colors, this wonderous tale of woodland escape wrapped up beautifully as night fell, marking the start of a lifetime journey of simple but divine happiness. Congratulations, Deby and Daniil!

Shan & Doug | Palais Royale Wedding
Five years ago, an intense game of ultimate frisbee broke out at Riverdale Park. There the two competitive souls Shan and Doug met each other for the first time. Soon the fervent competitiveness in them, coupled with a cute awkwardness they both share, transformed into something way sweeter than they have ever imagined. Over years of standing by each other’s side as a quirky and supportive couple, they have both grown certain that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Then, in the fall of 2021, Doug proposed to Shan in the forest. Overwhelmed by emotions and happiness, Shan shakily said yes!
Fast forward to the big day: After the emotional first look and snapping some nice pictures by the bike path and graffiti bridge (where Shan and Doug went biking on their first date!), our stunning bride changed into her beautiful Qi Pao for the Chinese tea ceremony, where the couple received many blessings from their family. Then, Shan changed to a graceful white wedding dress and got ready for the wedding ceremony at Palais Royale. Magic filled the air when we saw her walking down the aisle, with the groom looking at her with tender love in his eyes. Witnessed by loving friends and family, personal vows were exchanged and the knot was tied! Around sunset, the blissful couple made their entrance to a reception hall filled with loved ones to celebrate with them. Everyone had so much fun and the night was simply delightful. When it was time for the party to end, the couple’s family and bridal party lit the night with sparklers for Shan and Doug to make the dreamiest exit possible. We were at a loss for words at the thought and creativity put into this. Certainly this will be a special night for the couple and all their guests to forever remember by.
Thank you so much Shan and Doug for having us at your wedding! We had so much fun documenting the details of your union and manning the photo booth! We wish you a lifetime of happiness from the bottom of our hearts.

Rosanne & Jamie | Beautiful Summer Liberty Grand Wedding
Rosanne and Jamie’s story is just like a fairy tale. It traced back to grade 5 when they began as classmates and Jamie harbored a secret love for Rosanne. As high school happened, they went their separate ways. Yet fate had brought the two old friends together in adulthood, and they became lovers ever since! We were so lucky to celebrate the blessed couple’s engagement in this romantic shoot. And we are now overjoyed to record their happy memories on their wedding day!
It was a beautiful day, just picture perfect for Rosanne and Jamie’s garden-inspired wedding! The Catholic ceremony took place at St. Joseph Parish. It was a traditional mass interlaced with traditional Filipino rituals. It was beautiful to watch their family and friends rejoice over the union of the lovely couple. After the ceremony, we travelled to Humber Bay Shores to take some photos! This is a meaningful location for the couple – they had their first date by Toronto’s Harbourfront and their sweet proposal at the Humber Bay park! The joy on their faces was ever-sweet as the first day they met. What a lovely couple!
Despite all the Lakeshore traffic and CNE’s first return after 3 years due to COVID, a beautifully decorated reception venue adorned with spring colors awaited the couple at Liberty Grand. As the music played, Rosanne and Jamie enjoyed their first dance whilst romance filled the air. The night was blessed with more prayers, speeches from loved ones, and a lot of love. We were so honored to share the joy with you this day, Rosanne and Jamie. And we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Fiona & William | Summer Beach Wedding at the Lakeview Hamilton
Fiona and William are a fun-loving, cute couple. Seeing how compatible they are today, who would have guessed they didn’t mix well when they first met in high school! Being the nerd she was, Fiona was not pleased with William when he forgot the deadline to their group project and turned in a hastily written reflection. It took a few years before they bonded through a chat on video games and grew closer as friends. Finally, they started dating in their freshman year of university!
We were so blessed to witness Fiona and William’s big day, just a few months after their cheery Waterfront & Sugar Beach Engagement shoot! The happy day started off with door games, which filled the air with laughter! Following the tea ceremony and the memorable first look, the couple travelled to the beautiful Lakeview, where the ceremony awaited! In front of the sapphire ocean and with the company of loved ones, Fiona and William tied the knot! What a delightful day! Their happiness was contagious and it put a big grin on the guests’ faces. Certainly, the gleeful energy didn’t end there, as our star couple continued having the best time of their lives at the reception. They opened the dancefloor with perfectly choreographed dance moves, not without their own quirks and adorableness to make it their own! From the shoe game to the speeches, there wasn’t a moment when the hall wasn’t filled with a simple but sublime joy. We were blessed with good weather that day – take a look at the romantic photos we snapped of Fiona and William strolling on the beautiful beach! We were so honored to witness the union of these two best friends and document the lovely memories of their cheerful day! Congratulations!

Anna & Jesse | Toronto Sheraton Hotel Wedding
This charming couple brought their love and competitiveness from the field to the wedding! We took Anna and Jesse’s engagement photos last year and their sweet gazes towards each other has grown even more lovingly. The athletic duo, born and raised on either side of Canada, came to know each other through playing on the same softball team. Starting out at teammates, then to friends, then to significant others, Anna and Jesse worked through the challenges of long distance and busy schedules only to show the commitment and desire to be together.
Anna and Jesse chose to have their ceremony in Chinese Gospel Church Scarborough. Bright colours filled the sanctuary with white and pink flowers along the aisle and stage. You could tell love was in the air! As soon as Anna came into Jesse’s view, a tear shed down his cheek but with a smile reaching from ear to ear. What a joyous occasion~
After the ceremony, we took the bridal party to Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens for many more pictures. The beautiful greenery and structures illuminated the beauty of the bride and her bridesmaids and the handsomeness of the groomsmen. With a big bridal party such as this, they all looked stunning as if they came from a gala!
Moving to the reception, we headed to Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites, welcomed by a large hall decorated in white and pink roses and petals with two head tables, a BIG dance floor, and a shining chandelier. One of my favourites was the cakes, draped in rose petals elegantly spiraling down to the table! The bridal party danced their way in as soon as they were called. Anna and Jesse of course got all the cheers and applause when they walked in. Soon after, they danced to their first dance as husband and wife.
Seeing these two together brought warmth and cheerfulness to our hearts. We are so honored and thankful to capture these moments for you! We wish you all the best as you walk in this new chapter in your life. Congratulations!

Rebekah & Steven | Angus Glen Golf Club Wedding
It has already been less than a year ago since we met Rebekah and Steven for their engagement photoshoot; we couldn’t believe that their wedding day was already here! Their sweet budding love story has now bloomed and their wedding displayed just a fraction of their commitment to each other!
Their story began as students, diligently working hard towards their career aspirations: Steven, a data scientist, and Rebekah, a lawyer-in-training. These two smart individuals studied together along with their friends from a student Christian group and bonded over the unlikeliest of subjects - math homework! Despite a casual friendship with each other, Steven started to have feelings for Rebekah and took a chance to stay in Toronto after graduation. Conversation after conversation, their friendship took the next step into courtship! A couple years later, Steven brought Rebekah to Toronto Island and proposed to his best friend who he wanted to share the rest of his life with!
This couple planned their wedding ceremony to be at Chinese Gospel Church Scarborough. As we walked through the sanctuary doors of the church, the stage was refreshingly decorated with natural greenery from the bride’s own home! Despite not being a gardener herself, Rebekah’s family provided all the real plants and logs grown from their backyard. It felt as if we were invited to Steven and Rebekah’s secret spot in the forest!
Keeping the theme of greenery, we went up to Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham, Ontario. The vast land and golden sunset brought a warm and romantic start to the reception! Each table had potted plants as their centerpiece, herbs from the garden! The bride’s mother and grandmother grew them with care specifically for Rebekah as one of the many ways they showed support for her. Both Rebekah and Steven shared how encouraged and grateful they were to have many of their friends and family members help with the wedding. We were just as inspired to see such a family come together just for them! What a community to be a part of.
We are so thankful that these two lovebirds shared and celebrated this time with us! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both. Congrats on becoming Mr and Mrs!

SC & Jonathan | KWCAC University of Waterloo Wedding
After witnessing the love of SzeChing and Jonathan at their beautiful engagement shoot at Richmond Green Park, we can’t believe it’s already their wedding day! Their blessed day began with lots of fun and giggles. After the bride and groom got ready in their respective lodgings, the groom and his trusted groomsmen travelled to meet the beautiful bride, but not without a series of challenging door games! The bridal party had a blast whilst Jonathan and his men conquered all the games one by one, and finally got to see the bride in a dazzlingly crimson Chinese traditional wedding dress. After receiving blessings from family at the tea ceremony, SzeChing changed into a graceful white wedding dress and joined the bridal party to take a series of beautiful pictures at the University of Waterloo. Waterloo was where SzeChing and Jonathan met, went to church and school together, and they have decided to hold their ceremony there to commemorate their loving memories! It was a bright and sunny day, and the couple were glowing with joy and grace when being photographed by the water ponds and willow trees. The bridal party overall had so much fun doing this shoot, and it was delightful to watch! After that, we all arrived at the school church of Waterloo, a sacred and meaningful place for SzeChing and Jonathan, for their heart-warming and solemn ceremony. The best man and maid of honor gave heartfelt speeches, during which happy tears were shed. It was a moving scene. So much love, joy, blessings were felt. The bride and groom also gave sincere and sweet speeches. To thank their guests, the newlyweds prepared Hong Kong style snacks in cute little baggies for the guests to take home!
It meant so much to us to be able to walk with SzeChing and Jonathan on their special day. We were blown away by the sincerity of the emotions seen that day and the deep love this couple has for each other. Congratulations, SzeChing and Jonathan!
Annie & David | Toronto The Vue Wedding
It was on a surprise weekend trip to the beautiful city of New York, David was feeling nervous on the way down, while Annie was looking forward to eating lots of great food. In the heart of the city, they walked down the High Line and came to a stop. Unaware of David’s intentions, Annie watched as the love of her life proposed to her! From then on, they planned, prepped, and waited eagerly for their big day!
On the day of their wedding, you could feel the excitement in the air! Annie got herself ready in her dress with beautiful butterfly Swarovski earrings, pink and white rose hair pins, and heels to match! Meanwhile, David dressed up handsomely in a blue suit and watch with a floral tie and a pair of brown oxfords. We could already tell how thrilling the wedding was going to be as soon as the two looked at each other for the first time that day!
We headed to The Vue Event Venue in the west end of Toronto where the ceremony and reception was going to be. Just behind the building, we were met with a gorgeous view of the golf course and pond with the pergola centering out the stage where the bride and groom were to wed. There were smiles everywhere as soon as Annie was down the aisle and even bigger grins when the couple kissed! Not to mention their adorable niece riding the sweetest ride any flower girl could have!
Working with Annie and David was such a joyous occasion. They’re love and support for each other made our job feel just as exciting as we have always remembered it to be. We want to thank you for letting us be a part of your special day! Congratulations Annie and David!
Jenny & Aaron | Steam Whistle Brewery Wedding
This Steam Whistle Brewery wedding is one for the record! The day was filled with so much JOY! As you scroll through the photos, you will definitely see all the lovely smiles from everyone, especially our sweet bride! It was the same joy and smile from their engagement session we photographed last year! We had a lot of fun with the bridal party - they all looked stunning! They were always up for our posing suggestions and super sweet to photograph. My favourite was the one where the bride and groom went through the tunnel created by the bridal party!
Even with some spontaneous changes due to the weather, their ceremony was beautiful indoors! The chuppah fit so beautifully in the room. When music started for the hora, dances and cheers filled the room very quickly, especially when the bride and groom got lifted up on a chair! Such a fun crowd!
Thank you Jenny & Aaron for having us be part of your special day! Congratulations once again!

Stephanie & Jason | Whimsical Guild Inn Estate Wedding
It was a long time planning for our sweet Stephanie' and Jason’s special day. Like many couples for the last 18 months planning their dream wedding, there were a lot of uncertainties due to COVID. BUT they did it and everything was so perfect and beautiful! Our stunning bride was talented herself that she calligraphed all the stationaries and coat hangers. Stephanie has a big heart for people, especially her loved ones. She has taken the time out of her busy schedule of work, starting a business and wedding planning to hand make her bridesmaids gifts as well. Her work is so cute, elegant, romantic, fun and everything in between. If you don’t know already, you gotta check out her shop at Fish Designs Co.
The modern dating app really pulled these two together as they grew up from different cities. In fact, Stephanie moved from Vancouver to United States to Waterloo to Australia to Hong Kong and finally settling in Toronto (for now?). When we first met them, we thought they’ve known each other since childhood as there were so much things in common that they’ve shared and really enjoyed doing together: Pokemon Go and food adventures. For their engagement session, they even brought bubble tea as prop! Ummm, did i mentioned they even got an egg waffle station from Eggette Hut for their reception for their guests to enjoy?!!! They not only are foodies and knows how to have fun but really cares for those around them and are always providing for them. They are what I like to call a “Power Couple”!
Thank you Stephanie and Jason for having us be a part of your engagement journey and documenting your special day with loved ones. We wish you two a lifetime-full of adventures and blessings!

Jenny & Tim | Joyful Shangri-La Banquet Wedding
Jenny and Tim’s love story was a very special one - to me, it almost seemed like God orchestrated it all brought the two together at the perfect timing just before their wedding day! They both attended the same high school and church for quite some time before they officially met at the end of 2018. It was at their church event where Tim was a part of a group entered into contest to fundraise for a food bank. He asked for Jenny’s vote towards his group submission and from there the two started chatting online. A few months into 2019, they became official girlfriend and boyfriend! They just got married in September 2021 - doesn’t seem like they dated that long but when you talk to them it sounded like they’ve known each other since they were kids! Love stories like these gives me all the butterflies to see two coming together as one in the most perfect way.
With such a unique story of how these two could have met so much sooner at both their high school and church before 2018, for their wedding portraits we walked down the memory lane with them. Yes, we went to their high school - can you spot it on here? ;)
The day was all smiles for our sweet Jenny. It’s no wonder that Joy from Inside Out reminded Tim of Jenny. He even gifted her Joy the plush toy and card for their wedding gift! It was so funny to see Jenny laugh inside the gift bag before any one of us knew what she was giggling about. Their chemistry is such a playful, sweet and supportive one! They even bring so much joy to those around them. During the reception, they did a little something different for your traditional first dance - the bride dipped the groom instead! Tim is about a head and half taller than Jenny and for her to dip him at the end of their first dance got the crowds cheering!
Oh, what a happy day! It was so much fun to capture the festivities that took place on this blessed day! Thank you Jenny & Tim for having us be a part of your big day and congratulations once again!

Samantha & Kelvin | Richmond Hill Observatory Wedding
Samantha and Kelvin first met at their church’s youth fellowship back in 2009. They knew little of each other at that time and it wasn’t until 2014 when they got a chance to work on an event together for their fellowship that they started conversing more. Their dialogues continued via text messages while Kelvin was away for school in Waterloo and Samantha stayed in Toronto. And a beginning of this beautiful relationship started…
Love is in the air for them on Valentine’s Day where 2015 Kelvin gifted Samantha a handmade Eiffel Tower that she longed to visit one day! And on the same day in 2020, Kelvin got down on one knee and asked the most important question of his life to his now wife! The rest was just history!
Like many other couples getting married during a pandemic, plans have changed, and it wasn’t easy for them as Kelvin’s parents were abroad and was unable to attend. By careful considerations and lots of prayers, the two decided to postpone their reception celebration until a safer time (hopefully next year). With them being the sweetest couple, a lot of people attended the ceremony on live and in-person (limited capacity, of course) to show support for their union! They even prepared sweets and favours for their guests to take away at the end of the ceremony.
We still had a very eventful day even without the reception and it was a lot of fun! Kelvin and the boys came over for some Door Games and challenges that the bridesmaids came up with was so creative and fun! Samantha in her hide-out room couldn’t resist but laugh out loud while watching the groom and groomsmen being challenged!
When we photographed their engagement session, it was cold, windy, and even snowed early in the day - in May! Their love can really withstand the toughest weather no matter rain or shine! During portraits session, the rain came down after 15 minutes of arrival time. Fortunately, we still got some good portraits of the bridal party and bride and groom! And they were not soaked or wet thanks to the little cover that the observatory has as a hide-out spot! It was still fun as we would wait out for the rain and head back into our hiding spot when it rained more. Love can really conquer all things, even the toughest weather!
Thank you Samantha and Kelvin for having us be a part of and documenting your special day! Congratulations once again!
Manley & Lorie | A Magical Fairytale Wedding at Paradise Banquet Hall
At our first meeting with Manley & Lorie, we’ve quickly learned that Manley loved all things magical, whimsical and fairytale-like. For their proposal, they went to Disneyworld Florida for a friend’s 30th birthday. In front of the Magic Castle, Lorie got down on one knee and surprised Manley with the most important question of her life! At first she thought he was joking - “I thought he was joking so I pushed his shoulder telling him to stop. I started walking away but my friends yelled at me to go back. Still confused, I went back and let him hold my hand again. People had started cheering and I couldn't hear Lorie anymore.”
For their wedding, it was to no surprise that it was an inspired whimsical and romantic theme with pink, blush, creams and soft white as their colours. For their wedding details, the colours were really in the bride and bridesmaid’s bouquets. A pair of Jimmy Choo’s is every girl’s dream wedding shoes and Manley’s were the pink sparkly ones! You can definitely see more of romantic and fairytale blend in the reception decorations and hall. The centrepieces were tall gold vase with floral arrangement on top surrounded with tall candles and a gold vintage mirror table number - that reminds me of the Beauty and the Beast table setting but much more prettier! Paradise Banquet Hall is perfect venue to match Manley and Lorie’s wedding theme with the regal room and big chandelier! It was so dreamy to see their first dance underneath the beautiful oversized chandelier on the top and dry ice rising from the ground creating a cloud like effect and everything was just so romantic!
Most Disney Princesses stories take place at a tower or on top of a hill, for Manley & Lorie’s portraits we headed up a hill as well. We were “close” to the sky and saw many trees below us. Manley wore a beautiful off-shoulder a-line gown with sheer embroidered lace bodice that gave her a modern princess vibe when we photograph them over the hills!
Although Manley and Lorie’s wedding was postponed, due to COVID restrictions, and smaller than what they’ve imagined it to be but their wedding day was beautiful nonetheless! They were surrounded with so much joy and love from families and friends! Thank you Manley and Lorie for having us to be a part of your special day and capturing all the beautiful moments you’ve shared with loved ones! Congratulations to the newly wed!

Christine & Jamie | Sunnyside Pavilion Micro Wedding
Christine and Jamie’s wedding was a long time coming. We met these two beautiful souls virtually for the very first time in June 2020. They just arrived to the cottage and quickly jumped on the meeting with us. Even though the WIFI connection was not the strongest, and sometimes laggy, but their personalities radiated through the screen! They were nothing less from gentle, kind, friendly and always seeking for a good time - and these were exactly what we witnessed on their big day!
Like most couples planning a wedding during a pandemic, it definitely was not easy for the bride- and groom-to-be. Knowing that they are peoples-people who enjoys spending time with loved ones, but there were a few items that needed to be taken out of the wedding day agenda due to the restrictions. (This calls for real sacrifice and flexibility.) At the time of our check-in meeting, a few weeks before their wedding, Toronto had just moved into Stage 1 from the Stay-at-home orders. It was hard to keep to the 10 person limit for the ceremony and extremely struggled between having grandma or brother! BUT… GUESS WHATTTT!! The week of their wedding, we moved into STAGE TWO where indoor ceremony was allowed for up to 50 people!! This means BOTH brother and grandma annnnnddd more families and friends can attend! (It was like God heard their struggles and lifted the restrictions just in time for their special day!) We know what a challenge it was for them so we were ecstatic when we heard this news and received their email confirmation! Our hearts already celebrated with them the days leading up to their wedding day. They ever so deserve to be celebrating this special day with their friends and families. Have I mentioned that they were peoples-people? Their friends love them so much and were overjoyed with the union, they even surprised the newly wed with a fun sign outside the church! Bubbles and the ‘Just Married’ sign brought out the festivities for the new Mr and Mrs (see photos below)!
Ohhhkayy, oookk, not only are these two beautiful on the inside but they’re like friggin’ STUNNING on the outside! Gahh, they look so darn good that made the backdrop as their prop. Sunnyside Pavilion is gorgeous backdrop for engagement or weddings. When we first suggested this location to them, they told us their concerns for it not looking so great for wedding photos because it was a bit dingy vibe. But until we showed them some wedding photos of the venue, Christine immediately fell in love with it and booked it. So happy she did because they look absolutely stunning in it! Felt like we were photographing models for bridal magazines! Don’t believe me? Scroll down to see it for yourself!
Thank you Christine and Jamie for giving us the opportunity to have journeyed with you and documenting your big day! We wish you an abundant of blessings and a lifetime of happiness to come! Congratulations again!
