Anna & Jesse | Downtown Toronto Sunset Engagement
Anna and Jesse's love story began on the softball field as they played together on the same team throughout the summer season. To them it was unexpected that they would fall for one another as they were not interested in one another initially. However as they began to play and see each other every week, their competitive and passionate personalities would soon lead them to hit it off and blossom into something more. Jesse saw the caring and loving personality of Anna, while Anna came to admire, the fun and considerateness of Jesse. As their fruitful yet brief season of softball came to an end and Jesse returned back to his studies, hours away from Toronto where Anna was studying, it would become apparent that they cherished their time together. So they kept in touch until Jesse returned and taking her out on a series of dates, including a trip to the AGO, Eaton Center, and of course food! It would become obvious Jesse would ask her to become his girlfriend and now fiancΓ©e! They love the city of Toronto and enjoying them beauty of art and architecture and that is why they chose there backdrop of there pre-marriage ceremony to be the arches found in St. Lawrence market. We cant wait to showcase the next steps in their wedding planning!
Rebekah & Steven | Sunnybrook Park Fall Engagement
When the West Coast meets Central Canada, Rebekah and Stevenβs story started when Steven came to Toronto to further his education from Vancouver. This was when he found a downtown Chinese church as his home church to serve and fellowship at for the time he was staying in Toronto. Steven joined the churchβs university fellowship and one year later Rebekah joined the same fellowship group. At this point they knew of each other but were not close yet. It wasnβt until a year after they were in the same fellowship group, Steven had asked Rebekah to give him piano lessons and from then on they started a more personal friendship. After many prayers and patiently waiting, they finally started dating!
Rebekah finds Steven as one of the most faithful, sacrificial and intelligent man whereas Steven finds Rebakah smart, understanding and encouraging. Together they are supportive to one another and fun loving! They enjoy classical music concerts, dinners and outdoor activities together. For their Fall engagement session, they chose the Sunnybrook Park surrounded by nature and pops of fall colours.
When we arrived to our spot for photos, someone was barbequing in the middle of the park that lead smoke coming into our photos. Rebekah and Steven braced the smell and just look whimsical the smoke made their photos look with the sun setting behind them! They were so fun to photograph and they were all so giggly! So much joy coming out from these two!
Thank you Rebekah and Steven for having us capturing your engagement session and a dinner post session! We look forward to capturing many more giggles and joy for you on your wedding day next year!

Stephanie & Jason | Toronto Financial District Engagement Session
We had so much fun photographing Stephanie and Jason around Downtown Toronto. They even brought bubble tea to be photographed as they love spending time visiting different boba shops in the city. This time around they got the ShuYi fruit drinks - which really is out of this world and you gotta try if you havenβt already! We love it when couples incorporate a bit of props that represents their time spent together - Stephanie and Jason is just on point with that! We knew theyβre our couple when the bride-to-be is also a foodie, like myself! :) pssstβ¦.they even got us each a drink from this boba shop - super sweet of them!
Itβs been a long time coming for their engagement session as COVID lockdowns and restrictions, rainy weather, and permit communication approvals delayed us. But we finally made it through all that and roamed the streets of Torontoβs financial district and later to Polson Piers. It was so much fun documenting the smiles these two exchanged. Thank you for spending an evening with us and we canβt wait to photograph yourwedding in September! We know itβs going to be absolute fun, yet elegance!
Jenny & Tim | Love By The Waters Engagement
Jenny and Tim shares the most adorable chemistry. Tim always put a smile on Jenny by serenading her with her favourite song - for sure this was the most fun part of the session! Theyβre both so playful and yet can bring out the romantic side of their relationship when we were by the water with the sunset behind them! Scroll down to see more for yourself!
Ohhh, we canβt wait to photograph these two lovebirds again at their wedding in months time!

Samantha & Kelvin | Cherry Beach Engagement Session
Samantha and Kelvin, one of our lovely couples wanted to shoot their engagement at Cherry Beach this May to showcase their upcoming wedding. It has not been an easy year for many couples to plan their wedding around COVID, but these two have done a great job and we are so excited to see them tie the knot as their wedding approaches! The week leading up to their engagement session we had quite a warm and sunny time, however the evening that we shot, we were met with rain and SNOW earlier in the day! No matter rain, snow or shine, this lovely couple powered through it all and stand firm with the session! Theyβve really demonstrated love is not cancelled under any circumstances (pandemic or weather etc.) and sometimes with this determination it bring great blessings at the end (sunset).
Thank you for showing us, once again, how powerful love is. We canβt wait to document your love at your wedding later this summer!
DINA & ARIS | City Engagement Sessions
Featuring the engagement session of our lovely downtown power couple, who have trusted us with capturing their engagement photos in the city they love.
We started the session in the heart of the financial district, below the beautiful cityscape tower buildings. We found ourselves in a blend of stone architecture from the past and more modern concrete that made for the perfect fit to set the style of their mood. As we all walked around discovering the beautiful core of the city they grew up in, we knew we had to capture in the foreground the iconic TTC they grew up with, it was pretty neat! Our final destination was at the Liberty Village area where they reside, so where better to end the evening than at the romantic pink walls by the carpet factory with its lovely florals!
ANNIE & JEFF | Aga Khan Engagement Session
We met Annie & Jeff via Zoom while they were still in Hong Kong when they booked us. Our personalities just clicked when we first met them. A few months later, we finally met in person for their engagement session and they are the sweetest and cutest couple out there! Our sunset session at the Aga Khan was filled with laughters and smiles behind our masks. We stayed a little while after the sun had already set because we couldnβt stop photographing these two! The chemistry between Annie and Jeff are inseparable. Jeff is really good at making Annie laugh as you can really tell in the photos!
We are so excited to photograph more of you two at your wedding!
ELIZA & ALVIN | Toronto Tennis Court and Alexander Muir Park Engagement Session
Eliza and Alvinβs love story began about 7 years ago where they met through a mutual friend. Although they almost missed each other by not attending this mutual friendβs outing, we are thankfully they both went to the gathering and the rest is history!
Alvin planned a romantic proposal at an Air BnB with fairy lights beautifully decorated around the space. Cards written over the years were also placed to remind Eliza of the sweet memories they have shared in the last 7 years. It will be exactly 363 days after she had said yes to the day they will both say their I-Doβs!
On top of sharing passions for food together, they are also avid tennis players! Watch out these two are competitive! This common hobby had spiked up some creative ideas for their engagement session - what better location then to have their e-shoot at a tennis court! They changed into their tennis outfit and were ready to strike some lovely pose for us! We had the whole court to ourselves and worked in many angles! The best part was when the staff turned on the sprinklers for some added effects for the photos - love love love! The sun peaking just through the trees behind them and the water sprinkling over them made the scene super romantic!
If youβve been to Alexander Muir Park, you would know thereβs many cute spots with nature that can be used as a photo op. The trees make the perfect arch for us to frame Eliza and Alvin. Of course we also hung out at the popular white stone stair case wall as the backdrop.
Warden and I have not done an engagement session on the tennis court before, but we love to explore new locations like these to spike out our creativity! It definitely was so much fun working with Eliza and Alvin! Congratulations Eliza and Alvin, we are super excited to capture your upcoming wedding!!

LAURA & RYAN | Terre Bleu Summer Surprise Proposal
We met Laura & Ryan from church and quickly became friends. In fact, we have collaborated a few times with Laura as our model on a few commercial photography. Beginning of summer 2018, we were already talking to Laura about a personal session for herself and just brainstorming some fun ideas. She really left the location up to us. A few days laterβ¦.RYAN CONTACTED US as he knew about our upcoming photoshoot with Laura and he told us that he wanted to PROPOSE!!!! We literally dropped everything and came up with a plan to do it at the photoshoot we have with Laura. Fast forward, we booked the photoshoot session at Terre Bleu Lavender Field for August on a weekday evening. Laura loved the venue and shopped for new outfits for her upcoming photoshoot.
The Day of the Proposal: Ryan met us at Yorkdale to go together to Terre Bleu and sort of get in position before Laura arrives. The forecast was calling for heavy rain and thunderstorm for the time we have our photoshoot booked for! Mid-way there, a staff from the venue called us asking if we would like to reschedule as the forecast calls for rain and other booking sessions have been rescheduled. After discussion with Ryan, we decided to proceed and prepared for βThe NoteBookβ style kind of proposal! We arrived before Laura and started getting into position and planned how Ryan is to hide behind the big yellow door. The whole time we kept looking up to the sky and really prayed for it to rain after the session is done! On the other hand, Laura messaged me a video of her windshield wipers clearing off the rain as she was driving. She even asked if we are REALLY proceeding with the shoot! LOL. We mentioned to her about our arrival at the venue and reassured her that we can work with the weather.
Upon Her Arrival: (no rain, just heavy clouds) As soon as Laura arrived, I walked her into our main shooting location. When we got close to field, Warden came up to block the site of her looking at the yellow door direction where Ryan was hiding. Laura settled her belongings on the picnic table and we hurried our photoshoot before it rain. On the aisle of the yellow door, we did a few portraits of Laura with the wide open field. By the time we got to the yellow door, we told her to pause and hold in position 3 metres before the door so we can get a wide shot (but we were really waiting for Ryan to get down on his knees). When Ryan gave us the thumbβs up signal, we told Laura to open the door and walk through the frame; then VOILA Laura was in a moment of delightful haze when she saw Ryan down on one knee with a ring! Ryan gave his speech and asked the question andβ¦..SHE SAID YES!
THE SUN PEAKED OUT at the perfect time! We got some sunset photos which made everything the more romantic on this lavender field with these two sweetest and loving people on earth!
During the proposal period, Ryanβs GoPro ran out of battery but thankfully we had set our third body camera body to video recording just moments before Laura opened the door and everything was still beautifully captured!
We were so blessed as there was no rain throughout the whole time we were on the field, and then it started to thunderstorm on our way home! It was so much fun planning for a surprise proposal and we loved everything about this session!
