Lacsamana Family | A Joyous Mint Room Christmas Session

Like many families in Toronto, the Lacsamana’s were getting ready for Christmas by booking a Christmas Family session with us at the Mint Room Studios. Their Lolo even came along! Just love it when there’s grandparents at the photo session to be silly and make the grandchildren laugh or giggle - our session started off a bit challenging but the kids eased in later and we got some smiling candids from that! Thanks Lolo!

It was a lot of fun with the Lacsamana’s family! We played the Baby Shark’s song, danced, jumped, opened gifts, climbed on the ladder, placed ornaments on the Christmas tree, and used the pompom on my hat to grabbed the kids’ attention. With all that much activities happened, we not only got some candids but also some stunning elegant photos of the whole family. Just look how well their outfits all came together with the studio’s set up. Cherry and I have talked about outfits a few weeks prior to the session up until the weekend before as well. What you wear to a photo session matters because it should complement the environment (the studio) and I love how she took my suggestions to contrast the dark room. If you ever need help choosing outfits, let me know or better yet talk to Cherry and Chris! While Cherry was the outfit coordinator, Chris is actually a photographer and he knew exactly the poses that I was going for! I can photograph this perfect family any day and every day!

MAPLE & BRYANT | Mint Room Studios Floral Maternity Session

Maple & Bryant’s maternity session was beautiful at the Mint Room Studios with floral dresses and pink balloons on welcoming their baby girl. WOW! Maple at 35 weeks and yet still filled with so much energy! We met them both for our first time at the studio that day and her high energy was definitely contagious! The balloons they brought as props sure added a lot of fun to our session! Be sure to scroll down to see the joy they share as an anticipation of parenthood.

They were both so easy going and lovely! It was great working with these two!

EUNICE & GEORGE | Toronto Minimalistic Mint Room Maternity Session

It was an honour to have photographed a local family blogger: Eunice and George! They are both excited for their second baby girl on the way and so is little Rosie! She sure added a lot of fun into the session! She ran around barefoot exploring the space, inviting herself into photos, watching mommy and daddy pose and even helping us set up props! Little Rosie is ready to be a big sister!

This spring maternity/family session was perfect at the Mint Room Studio as it was still chilly outside in May. Though it was chilly outside but may be a bit too warm inside, and thankfully the staff had left a fan in the studio room a day before so we got to utilize it when we arrived. Hehe, we may not have used the fan for temperature purposes but more for creativity purposes for the photo session. It was unplanned, but that’s the best part right? JANET & SIMON | Mint Room Maternity Session

Meet Janet and Simon the parents-to-be to that baby who will reveal the gender on the day of delivery! How interesting IS THAT! As you will see, we have all the bases covered, with some blue tones for the baby boy theme and pink-floral tones for the baby girl theme. Speaking of pink florals; the dress that Janet is wearing arrived just two days before our photoshoot (thanks to Amazon Prime)! She wasn’t too sure about the fitting and how well it would work with this session, but thankful for her trust in our creativity, she loved the dress photos the most! Woohoo! Love it when our clients put their trust in us to create something elegant and fun for them! If you know Simon, you would know that he is a big Toronto Maple Leaf fan, so of course we had to capture their jerseys for papa, mama, and the baby for this session! So adorable! We can’t wait to meet and photograph their newborn session with more Leafs and hockey props later this month!
